Uniquely comfortable shooting beauty, environmental fashion, glamour, nude or fetish work she brings a set of skills to the table that few models can match. She is truly the antithesis of the stereotypical model. Model, mother, scholar and all around good person Jolene Hex is a first choice for me anytime a model is needed for a project.

The shows of the era that stuck with me were those that my family gathered together every week to watch. Wonderful World of Disney, Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, Hee Haw and of course Rowan and Martin’s Laugh In.

Enter the model. 2-3 times a year I will get a call from Sarah Jane Woodall who just happens to be one of the most creatively prolific models in all of Las Vegas. Known predominately as an alternative model Sara Jane or Wonderhussy as she calls herself on her blog at Wonderhussy - Rants and Raves of Las Vegas Nude Model, Fetish Model and Writer is the consummate professional in front of the lens. She always has a concept when she calls, she always shows up on time with costume or lack there of in tow (she often models sans costume) and she is always easy to shoot. In fact for the shoot here which was part of an homage to Goldie Hawn and Laugh In we shot two looks and shot all of 176 frames to capture both looks and got everything we needed to fully tell the story. In the transient world that is Las Vegas finding a truly professional model is always a thrill but finding one that is professional and still relaxed and actually fun to work with is a one in a thousand and a real dream come true. Well we have been MIA around here for a month or so while we moved into our brand new studio space. The new space is a 6,000 + sq. ft. production space with a 40x25x12’ cyc wall and ample room for set building. With over 80’ of unobstructed line of sight in the production area the new space really open ups a lot of new possibilities for us at the commercial level.

The following photos with model Jolene Hex were the first photos created in this new space. The shot with Jolene, the car and the Can Am is not a composite all 3 were on the cyc floor at the same time and were captured in a single frame.
